'Shamu' -- At just over a year old Shamu is young and active. He would do well with an active home that likes to spend time with their dog(s). He has a great personality. He rides well in the car and walks fairly well on leash. He easily learned sit and down and is very sweet and wants to please. We took him on a club hike and he was great. He was great with all the little kids even though they wanted to sit on him. He is a dog that needs attention and exercise and a secure yard with high fencing for when he is outside. He is very happy to hang out in the house with the family and enjoys being pet and attention. He will need a home with people who understand Northern breeds and are willing to give him the time, attention and exercise he needs. He does have a prey drive so he will NOT be placed in a home with cats, small dogs or other small animals. Larger dogs are fine.
